1.Library card
A Nagareyama Public Librery card allows you to borrow materials (books,magazines,casette tapes,CDs ) from the Nagareyama Pulic Library.
You do not need a library card for onsite use of any Nagareyama libraries.
You can use materials in the library with free of charge whether you do have a card or not.
2.How to get a library card
You can apply for a library card at any Nagareyama libraries.
Taking you with ID Card, Alien Registration Card, a driver's license, or a letter, etc. Which shows your current address, please fill in an application form and submit it to the counter. Then, your library card will be issued immediately.
A library card is free to anyone who lives, works, or attend school in Nagareyama City.

5.How to borrow materials(books, magazines, cassette tapes, CDs, etc.)
Please bring materials with your library card to the counter.

Some materials are not available for borrowing, including the newest magazines and certain reference books.
6.How to return materials
Please bring the materials to the counter before the borrowing period expires.
When the Library is closed, you may return books and magazines in a Book-return-box at the entrance.
Audio-Visual materials (CDs, Videos, Caseette tapes, and DVDs) can be returned only to the counter.
7.Reservation
When the materials you want is out on loan to someone else, you may reserve it.
Please fill in reservation form at any location, and submit it to the counter.
The Library will hold the item and notify you when it's returned.
The Library also accepts your reservation by telephone.
8.Photocopying
Materials in the library can be copied in compliance with the copyright law.
The copying charge is 10 yen per sheet.
Please fill in a photocopying form and bring it to the counter.
